From what type of OS are you trying to access your shared folder? Are you using the right username (one with sufficient privileges)? Workgroup Problem
I had a similar problem with a Win ME machine. Our only solution (after having really tried *everything*) has been to reinstall Win98 in place of WinME. I anyway hope you don't have to do the same.
