This is so weird. I basically did the same thing you advised me to last time - which was a different problem. Start an account in Outlook Express (which I really dislike), delete my existing account in OL '03, then start up a new account in OL '03 - all with the exact same information BTW and it...
Nothing... I am beginning to think that the last AVG free edition download has done something. For it to wig out a couple weeks ago and go through all that to get it fixed, then happen again... that is the only thing that is changed.
I am going to write AVG and see if they have other...
Thank you Jhaith. I did it that way previously.. I get into User Accounts and it is laid out as I outlined above... 3 lines, then 3 avitars under that. There are no tabs for Advanced> Manage Passwords. Just 3 lined options:
Change an account
Create a new account
Change the way users log on or...
Thanks JHaith... I can't do that. I go control panel-User Accounts and that's it... from there I get a page with accounts shown... no advanced tab. There are 3 options, then the accounts. The Options are Change an account, create a new account or change the way users log on or off.

After receiving great help with my OL 2003 a couple of weeks ago, it was all cleared up and working. Now for some reason, every time my OL automatically or manually checks for Email, I get the Enter Network Password popup box.
I have changed nothing... all the information is untouched and...
And Jhaith... thank you again! I don't know the how's and why's, but it is working. I got my stuff transferred over and it is operable.
I DO notice that I seem to be freezing up more... whenever I am on IE, if I open Outlook and anything else, everything just freezes. If it is Outlook and IE...
First let me thank JHaith for all the help with my Outlook '03 issue. I still don't know what it was, but it seems fully operational and I am very grateful.
Now I have a lot of emails in Express that I need to save. How do I move them into Outlook 2003?
Thanks
Mark
OK, this is weirder and weirder. I opened up a new user with full admin approval. Loaded up a new account in Outlook and it immediately downloaded the last 5 or 8 messages that were being held on my ISP server. These are all dated today and after the last bunch I downloaded on Express.
I just...
OK, I did the Detect and Repair, closed Outlook and reopened, reconfirmed all account information. When I hit send receive I got error 08x800CCC0F 'The connection to the server was interrupted'.
But I have IE open and working so I know my connection is open.
OK, I just set up Outlook express and it immediately downloaded all the emails sitting on the server.
WTH??? So ... Outlook 2003 is corrupted somehow? How do I fix it and then get everything from Express to 2003?
I removed all profiles... I am the only user on this computer and unfortunately I do not have another computer I can try on. I did not delete the cache settings... I will delete everything, including that and try again. I will get back shortly.
Thanks for the ideas
Mark
Howdy. First this is NOT outlook express. It is outlook 2003. I have investigated that error code and there are a lot of problems it addresses, so here is a copy of the entire pop up:
Task ‘sbcglobal.yahoo.com – Receiving’ reported error (0x800CCC90) : ‘Your Incoming (POP3) mail server has...
