Not that i'm aware of, the only way around is to use Windows 2000 server, that has licence options from 10 to lots... It's a real pain in the arse for network rendering i've found.
I've had experience in the past with Win NT 4.0 giving up the ghost once the maximum of 10 connections are being made. Does anyone know how many simultaneous connections Win2K pro supports??
You can fix this in the max preferences setup. Go to the rendering panel and at the top there is a checkbox for video colour setup. You can set it to work with NTSC or PAL, and to fix the colour bleeding, by either scaling the colour palette or by flagging the bleeding colours with black...
Has anyone else found rendering in Max3.1 on Win 2K to be slower than on Win NT?
Did a net render yesterday, and a new Dell 1.7Ghz with 512MB of RD Ram was considerably slower than a PIII 1GHz with SDRAM??
Does Max 4 improve this??

Problem Is that my background image has to sit in the middle of the browser window, my nested tables allow my content to always sit in the middle, but a bgimage would just tile itself all around the place???
I've got a series of nested tables, with an overall background image in the top table. The nested tables do not have any background so that the overall image can be seen.
This doesn't seem to work in Netscape???
Any ideas?
I've got a question on this topic, how do I redirect based on the URL the vistor used.
ie; http://www.mysite.com opens index.html as usual
but
http://alias.mysite.com normally also finds the same index.html, but I want to redirect this user to another page in my site.
Help!
