For a little while now (bout a month) i have gone back to using Mandriva
Very impressed with the 2010 release, i found ubuntu to be very 'buggy' in it's latest incarnation, mandriva has been very stable so i have been using it at home...

The differences between Ubuntu and CentOS are;
Ubuntu is based on the Debian distrobution and by default uses the .DEB packages, for updating and installing new software the package manager would be apt which has a graphical tool called synaptic...
the phones are HTC and sync over the air to the exchange server, i assume it is using the active sync on ex2003 as that seems to be giving the error in the event logs

we have a client who uses ex2003 for their mail, it was working fine with syncing but recently some users have noticed that when their phones sync with the ex2003 server calendar appointments star disappearing from their outlook clients

Can you explicitly specify a dns server in the cisco config, try that and see if the macs pick that up, i think they are just defaulting to the radius as it announces that it is a dns when they authenticate

well a cowboy solution anyway! i unhooked the lcd panel closed switch and it started working woohoo
of course this means it wont sleep if i close the lid but hey i can live with that for the moment ;)

i have a strange power problem on an ols toshiba satellite pro 4320 (yes i know its old)
if i plug in the power i get a power led on the front, when i press the power on button the led for power on comes on but thats it
no fans spin up, no drives are accessed and the screen shows...

Hi, i wondered if i could pick someones brain for a sec
i'm trying to re-install windows xp on my home system, i've now tried 10 xp install disks and the furthest i can get on the install is the first blue screen (for windows setup)
the disks are all good and the system can install vista...
