It turns out the IP address on the Xircom and Linksys cards on my laptop were not being updated. I tried to release w/Winipcfg w/o success. As a workaround I assigned static ip addresses. I had to also add my ISPs DNS server addresses to the DNS list as just assigning my router as the...
You might try using a static ip address to confirm the card is working. Also, try using Winipcfg to confirm the IP address is being assigned the way you think it should.

I've added an identical Xircom card to my computer. It connects to the Internet and I can see my computer in Network Neighborhood. My wife's computer does not show up. I can Ping it but not establish a connection.
If I plug my 3Com card back in then she shows up.

I'd done it before but I tried again to install all three cards into my wife's Dell Latitude. No joy. However, the Xircom Cardbus Ethernet II card is working in my Winbook.
