Have you tried incremental log backups? Backing up the log file is much faster.
How it works:
All current data being read to and from the database is actually going in your log file. At a checkpoint the data is transferred to the actual database file.
If you fully backup your database on...
Use this query in any database as each database has it's own procs.
Select Name From Sysobjects where xtype = 'p'
below optional for specific type searches:
and Name like '%<search criteria>%'
The master database usually only stores system procs.
User defined procs usually reside in in...
if you are in the 'dog' database..
insert into cat..ans2
select * from ans1
or from the 'cat' database..
insert into ans2
select * from dog..ans1
Tables would need to be identical in order for this to work.
