Hard drive upgrade options
I have a WIN2K P4 Dell with a WD EIDE ATA-100 primary drive which runs off an Intel 82801BA Ultra ATA Storage Controller 244B. I want to upgrade to a larger primary drive (currently 40GB) and have noticed many types of internal drives on the market (SATA, PATA, etc.) What types am I limited to...- thesper

I have a WIN2K Dell with a 3-partition 40GB HD that is running out of space. I have offloaded everything I can to an external HD but still find myself having to reformat the partitions to give C: enough space. I would like to replace the internal HD with something bigger.
