    how to identify scsi tape drives

    I have two libraries on one server; I need to upgrade drivers for the drives on one of the libraries. When I look in device manager, some of the tape drives have identical scsi information "bus 0, id 5, llun 0". How can I tell which drives are connected to which scsi card/library? thanks! C.

    restores, how do you determine media needed?

    Thanks JG5, it's funny, my supervisor found this menu this morning. The context sensitive menus in commvault are a source of continuous *joy*. The list media option is only available on the backup set right click, not on the file system..... aarrggh. thanks again, Chris

    When we do a restore, in order to get a list of the media needed, we have to look at the the job history for the machine, and make a list of all the tapes from the last full to the current incremental - is there an easier/faster way to get a listing of media needed for a restore job? thanks in...
