I would suggest running the PC with the case side off. When it is on, observe the fans and see if they are working. Shine a torch into the PC if necessary. Sometimes the fans on the CPU fail. Or it could be that there is too much dust on the fan/heatsink on the CPU which needs to be cleaned off...
