The client "feels" like software RAID might be better as far monitoring goes. He is also considering moving to a backup scenario. The bottom line is he wants to know what's going on all the time. My experience with RAID has all been on Novell servers doing duplexed mirroring which was flawless...
I have an Asus M4A79XTD EVO mobo with two SATA 1T drives in a RAID mirroring configuration. I want to disable/delete the RAID without losing any data on the source drive. The manual warns data loss will occur if the RAID is disabled/deleted. My goal is to switch to W7 mirroring on these two...
I've been following, but not participating in this thread and if my vote counts I would like to see the screen recording.
Y'all all rock.

Tamar,
Thanks. I've already tried it and it works. Simpler is better(er).

Labels and CheckBoxes won’t stay put.
Ok everybody, I think I've got the answer.
Tested on VFP 8 and 9.
First let me thank all of you for your time and suggestions. I have tried them all and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Who knows why?
But, I've stumbled across what I believe...
StirFry,
Thanks for the tip. However, it didn't work. But the good news is I found the cure!
I have no idea why this works, but it does.
1) Click on the checkbox while editing your form.
2) In the properties window go to the Width property.
3) What ever value is in the width property if it...
In VFP 8 and now in VFP 9 SP2 when I place a checkbox at a specific location on a form, sometimes, when I come back to the form later, the checkbox is in a different location. If I have several checkboxes on the form sometimes, more than one checkbox has moved to a different location.
If I then...
The reinstall and uninstall might have worked. I didn't try it as this problem is common and I thought if it could be solved that easy I would have found that answer before ever posting on TT.
Yes, I tried the control panel uninstall, i.e. the uninstall tool.
I finally removed it with a...
Some time ago I installed the MS Publisher 2007 Trial software. I've tried to uninstall in using the MS uninstall tool and Absolute Uninstall. Neither worked. Does anyone know how to uninstall this wretched piece of......software? I am using Vista, 32bit OS.

I set exceptions for all the VFP file types no matter where the file is found.
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.
Tried setting all the VFP file types to excluded from AV checking.
Turned off the write behind cache.
I was able to make more changes in the form I've been working on but in the end I still get the error.
More suggestions?
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what...
The form is not saved in the Windows or Program File folders. Other suggestions? BTW, I'm runnning VFP 9 SP1.
In any case, thanks for the reply!

When I am working with forms, new and old, I can make changes, run the form, no problem...once, maybe twice. I then get the infamous C0000005 error: Memo file is missing/invalid. A restart of VFP 9 fixes it and the process of edit/error repeats. Does anyone have any suggestions beyond what I...
wahnula and vacunita,
Thanks sooooo much! Everything is back to normal with my right click menu.
Y'all are just too much.
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.
Some time ago I was futzing around with my computer (Win XP Pro SP3) and somehow caused the right click on a folder to offer the "Search" mode instead of the "Open" mode as the default choice.
Here’s the current selection order I get when I right click on a folder menu.
