    Many thanks for the tip. That was firewall issue. Ports were not open for this server for outside connections. Just to double check: to receive messages from other servers, on my server I sould have opened incoming port 25, right? Do I need to open this port for outgoing connections?

    I installed qmail using instructions from qmailrocks.org. Everything worked well. I can send to the world messages using smtp, works fine I can send and receive messages between the users of the domain I defined, but I do not receive messages from outside world and do not get any error messages...
