    Connect a IBM 3581-H17 to a Windows 2000 box

    I am trying to connect an old 3581-H17 to a Windows 2000 server and I am having problems with it. Windows recognizes the Changer Bus Enumerator and Tape Bus Enumerator as System Devices. My questions is, should it also have a tape drive showing and if so, what drivers do I need to use for it?

    I have checked to make sure that nothing else is using that port. The port is not listening from netstat -an and there are no other entries for that port in /etc/services. Any other suggestions?
