Yes we are using Groupwise Client. I do not understand how this doesn't work.
It's a problem with the users, everywhere they logon they have the same problem.

I have a strange problem, which only a few persons in this organisation have.
When these people get a new mail the blue counter next to the mailbox does not appear, I have looked (probably not te good) but i can't find this option within groupwise.
