I have found that if you use a port and don't disconnect it properly when done it will report that it is busy if you try to use it again. The only way I have found to get around a busy port is to reboot the machine. Not exactly my favorite answer to give, but if it is possible to do it might...
I am having a hard time finding something that will log not just what changes are made to files, but also who makes those changes. Does anybody know of anything that will do this for UNIX systems running Solaris 2.6?
