ok i was called to an office yesterday as a favour for a friend who was short staffed as they could not get onto their outlook inboxes etc. It turned out that the HDD of the server had about 6.5MB left of storage, so i did a disc clean up and managed to free 1.5GB. I rebooted the server... -

LAN problem
hi all new to site but already looks like the online bible to me! I have 2 systems running xp pro with a nic card in each one, both connecting to a hub with straight throughs. the problem i have is the second pc "has PCI simple communications device" marked with a question mark in the device...- oscartony
