    OverRide InBound CallerID

    Is there anyway to override the callerid name on a inbound PRI? I am the IT person for a SMB and everytime I call in they don't understand I'm the IT person and answer it about 50% of the time. Anyway to change the CLID name to be "IT Admin" or something. I thought about if I make a contact...

    IPO 8.1 Upgrade - Allowed to patch service packs within same release?

    So I know this is a noob question and I tried searching but could not find a answer. With the new upgrade license stuff, do I need to buy a new license for upgrade within a major release? IE> I purchased the 8.1 upgrade license a few months ago (December) for a client to go from 6.x to 8.1...

    Upgrade Recommendations 5.0.26 -> 8.1?

    I just was thinking the newer hardware is twice the cost but the unit they have in there is about 3yrs old and just went out of warranty. This is running two doctors offices so it would not hurt to have a backup one in case one decided to die. But since the 500v2 uses a different card for the...

    Upgrade Recommendations 5.0.26 -> 8.1?

    Awesome thanks for the info! Any thoughts on if we should upgrade the IP500 v1 to a v2? Would that skirt the requirement of buying a upgrade license? I believe we would have to transfer our card to a SD or something. It seems IP500 v1 will be supported for sometime so we can leave that...

    IPO 6.0 - 5620 VPN Phone with Netgear FVS318v3

    Weird thou...there was a post that i printed out on this forum which caused me to get the 318v3. The guy said it worked as long as you upgraded firmware and followed steps. Can't find it now.... So is the 338 or 336G the way to go..i don't see a 336 without gigabit and the 336G is about...

    IPO 6.0 - 5620 VPN Phone with Netgear FVS318v3

    So I'm trying to get a couple 5620's hooked up to a 318v3 netgear. I have tried to follow some of the users that have done it on this forum but not having luck. From what I can tell the fvs318v3 does not support 'users' so you can only use the PSK methods which is fine for me. But, I have...

    IPO 5620 Phones New or Not?

    Anyone know the story on Avaya IP phones 5620's. According to the install guide all the way back to 2007 (4.x) says they are no longer available from Avaya and are replaced by the 5621's. However, I just bought three 'new' 5621's from a dealer and they sent me 5620's. They are claiming these...
