I agree there is something with the network configuration that is causing the problem. All the machines are local. I dont have roaming profiles enabled. DHCP is assigned from the same server that hosts the DNS. The NIC is pointed at the DNS Server. Not sure if this information proves...
The user is no longer able to connect to the domain. The computer can no longer access mapped network drives. In fact the user basically is no longer able to access the user profile associated to the domain. Typically on the next logon they can not access windows under the domain profile...

As of late my user profiles are disconnecting from the Domain controller. Does anyone know why this is happening? This is a pain to rejoin each profile when this happens.
Could some one shed some light on why when I backup using Backup Exec 10. the files are all equally sized 1GB chunks. I am currently backing up 250GBs of data. As you can imagine having 250 1GB Chunks is annoying.
Would backing up to an external hard drive as apposed to Tape cause this...
