Hi -
Our vendor confirmed that all PEP's are up to date. They have not seen this configuration before but are looking into it. I read through the Feature Guide again and noticed something buried in the Operating Parameters section -- posted below. It basically notes that link integration is...
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your time and feedback today. You answered all my questions and confirmed what I had suspected - which is - that the Nortel is not accepting the MWI request.
I will work with the site and follow the steps you have outlined (download the MDSL's and...
OK -
I've grabbed a couple of D-channel messages off the working Nortel.
Thank you for the IMS feedback. That was my take on it too after reading the section on QSIG MWI but wanted the double check.
All 4 PRI's are programmed the same. If I can;t get this working then I will set up a...
One other comment / question. The Nortel is using 4 digit extensions and the Cisco is using 5 digit extensions (all with a leading digit of 2). Is it possible that the Nortel cannot successfully reply to the Cisco?
The VM pilot in the Cisco is X 28700.
Telephone hunt and FDN is 8700.

Hi -
Thanks for the excellent feedback. I looked at book 3 as you suggested and have a better understanding of this feature. Also, I looked at the PINX_DN idea. On the two working Nortel / Cisco integrations the PINX_DN is not set (in other words, it matches the broken system - blank or no...
Here is the output -
According to what I'm seeing in the Cisco, there are several attempts to turn the light on and all fail.
I set the following in the Nortel (please let me know if I didn't get this correct - have not done much of this).
set msgi 124 mon 1
enl msgi 124
DCH 124...
Hi -
I am trying to configure our Cisco Unity Connection voice mail to also support our Nortel CS1000 users. The configuration is:
Nortel CS1000 Rls 4.50
QSIG Tie lines to Cisco 3845 voice gateway
Cisco Unified Call Manager Rls 7.1.3
Cisco Unity Connection Rls 7.1.3
All QSIG functionality...
Does anyone know if I can run a report or do a database query to find out when a telephone was last used? Not looking for CDR for outgoing LD calls - just need to find out if any calls were placed or received on a group of telephones. Trying to determine if we need to deploy telephones in the...
Does anyone know if I can print a report or do a database query in CUCM 7.1.2 to see when a telephone was last used? Is this possible in a canned report?
Question - did you get this working? I just set this up following the Cisco docs and I'm getting the same error message. Wondering if you got this resolved? Running CUCM 7.1.3.
Thanks
Thanks for the feedback. We are going to set up a dist. list in email for this - seems to be the only solution at this time. Only needed for a small number of support people.
DOes anyine know if there is a way to have Unity notify 2 different email addresses when new voice mail is left in a mailbox? I tried seperating the addresses with a ; but no lock and I can't find anything in the docs.
Thanks
Well - I've hit the wall with the stupid max 30 appearances of a DN on sets. I have a help desk requirement to put either an SCR or MCR on 50 telephones that would be used for an emergency caller pressing "9" in the CCM app.
So - I am looking for alternatives and I'm feeling brain dead today...
ACDN's may not provide answer supervision to the CO so the call might be getting dropped because of that.
I'm not clear on the use of the ACD in this case. Do these users have an individual ACD that they use or do you NCFW to a users DN for some reason? Why the ACD?
You can export and import individual messages with App Builder. This won't be too much work if you only have a few apps / recordings.
Open App Builder and then open each individual app. Within each app you have to open each announcement, menu or recording point - choose "edit" and then...
I don't think you can turn that off (but I could be wrong). I think your best bet is to build an announcement in App Builder (with all end points set for disconnect or end), take out the mailbox and put the ACDN in the SDN table. You can record the message from App Builder or through Prompt...
I'm trying to get the VPIM working between my CallPilot R5 and our new Cisco Unity Connection R7 system. I would like to be able to allow CallPilot users to be able to forward voice mail messages to Unity users and vise versa (but mostly Nortel to Cisco). I have been playing arund with the set...

Is is possible to set up a service on Unity Connection (R 7.x) that works like the Nortel "Express Message Service" where callers dial a number, are given a prompt to enter a mailbox number and then go right to recording and bypass ringing the telephone? I can't seem to see how to do this and...
