    Everything. Mostly, queries. Thanks for the response. I seem to have figured it out. I installed XAMPP as admin on my machine but use it as jmilane. Whenever I changed my.ini, it was being overwritten. That sound right?

    I am running mysql on windows as part of the xampp stack. my my.ini reads: #set-variable=key_buffer=16M log=hostname.log so that looks good... but in WinMySQLAdmin - the LOG = OFF And it is not logging! And I need it to. Help? How can I turn it on? How can I change this to say LOG = YES...
