Compaq Presario, no audio????????
Help, I have a Compaq Presario desktop, just loaded windows 2000 and now have no audio. I tried downloading the ESS Allegro ES19899S (motherboard soundcard) driver, but it wouldn't load. I'm not sure where to go or what to do next. Thanks in advance.- clarkee4

Help CD Rom & CD R/W not working!!!!!
I just recently installed W2K on my Compaq Presario 5BW220 and the CD-Rom was working fine until I re-intstalled my CD R/W, and then they both dissapeared. When I check the device manager i get the yellow exclamation mark by both of them and the following message when I click on either....This...- clarkee4
