I would inform the DCHP team that you need to assign the IPs to the firewalls statically but need the reservations so no one else pulls the same IPs. The DHCP can annotate that the IPs are for the firewalls in the description field.
My firewall is logging the following traffic:
access-list inbound denied 99 outside/y.y.y.y(0) -> inside/x.x.x.x(0) hit-cnt 1
The log looks similar to traffic coming across protocol 50 (esp), but I can't find any information on protocol 99.
Does this traffic look familiar to anyone?
