With Sharepoint 2003 portal, the lists (announcements, news, events) all has the green "!New" image display next to an new item. But for a LINKS list, where and how do you get it (!New) to show up?
How do I get my "news/list webpart" on one portal and add it to another so that when I change/add news items, both of the 2 portals will synchronically changed.
Example....
portal 1: "http://portal/abc.com" has a news webpart
portal 2: :http://portal/abc.com/HR" needs to have the same news...
I have sent e-mail blast by copying distinctive layouts and paste it into my Outlook so it'll looke the same. In doing so, sometimes images/fonts are not the same and sometimes missing. Is there an easier -or- preferred way of creating diff't layouts (newsletter, brochure) and get it to...
Whenever I add a news item in our sharepoint portal the title, date, description, and author shows up on the public forum of the portal.
Would anyone be able to tell me how to remove/hide the date and author's name for the news item that I put in?
