I have a WS-C3750G-24T running c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE. According to Cisco, my switch should be able to support IPv6, however none of the ipv6 commands in conf t or int mode seem to exist.
What am I missing here?
Hi -
I have this IP block that I'm advertising via BGP to my providers.
I have two different datacenters, with two different providers.
My first datacenter is my primary datacenter and currently all the traffic goes there.
My second datacenter is my secondary datacenter and I have...
Thanks for your help so far. Maybe I'm not getting the concept of bind or something.
From what I gather from Master->Slave for bind is when there's an update on the master, you can send NOTIFY's to the slaves to let them know to get the newest version of the zone.
I also understand that it...
I do run a DNS provider and have for several years, it's one of the bigger ones on the Internet. However, we are now switching over to bind from another platform and that's the only issue I'm having.
Which function will allow master -> slave -> slave? I don't see anything popping out at me.
Hi -
I run a DNS hosting provider which provides backup DNS. Basically, my nameserver will act as a slave and connect to their master nameserver.
But once my nameserver grabs the config from their master, that same nameserver (my master nameserver) needs to send the config to all of my...
I'm trying to enable SSL for tomcat.
I'm following the HOWTO at http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/ssl-howto.html
The server.xml;
<Connector port="8443" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192"
maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25" maxSpareThreads="75"
enableLookups="false" disableUploadTimeout="true"...
Brent,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I added this to access-list 101;
access-list 101 extended permit ip 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0
access-list 101 is the VPN connection from pix 2 to pix 1.
access-list 102 is the VPN connection from pix 2 to pix 3
VPN-ACCESS is the...
BTW, On Pix 1 I couldnt add the following command;
same-security-traffic permit intra-interface
Because it seems that command is only on 7.x Trying to find a way to do it within 6.x. perhaps that's the reason?

It's a bit messy atm, I need to clean up old stuff. But this is how it's setup.
Pix 1 is in LA
Pix 2 is in Phoenix
Pix 3 is also in Phoenix
Pix 2 has a site to site VPN to Pix 1...
I have the following network setup
Pix 1 ----> Pix 2 <----- Pix 3
Pix 2 handles the site to site VPN's so the people behind Pix 2 can see both networks on pix1 and pix3. I have two problems.
1) I want pix 3 and pix 1 to be able to see each other. It's current set that way in the "vpn"...
It's very weird.
I found out I can ping .80, .81, and .82 of that block but nothing else. If I ping anything lower, I get the following:
[14:43] optize: 38: arp-in: response at outside from 216.207.124.67 000c.8543.6035 for x.x.124.83 000a.f4d5.f5b2
39: arp-set: added arp outside...
I have two different PIX firewalls (two completely different networks) on the same /27.
From pix 1, I can't ping anything on pix 2
From pix 2, I can't ping anything on pix 1.
I can however ping my default gateway, I can ping the other pix, I can ping everything else except the static mappings...
I'm having a hard time getting these two Cisco PIX 515e's to work correctly.
Here are the (vpn) configs. I've removed the real IP's and replaced them with.
PIX 1: 192.168.0.1
PIX 2: 192.168.0.2
Pix 1 Config:
access-list 101 permit ip 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0...
