Beautiful! I stopped the index service and got rid of the catalog files. No more fluctuations. THANK YOU! This was a major headache for me. I certainly appreciate it.
It looks like the System Volume Information directory has another directory called catalog.wci This particular folder seems to be the one fluctuating. I understand it has to do with the IIS, but I'm not sure what I should do with it.
