Mark, What I am looking for is if I am synchronizing my dc with an external time source. Do i need to setsntp to point to my pdc or can I use my domain name?

The PDC is what we use for time synchronization. We are on a Windows 200 native domain. The PDC is still around in 2000/2003 and time sync is about all it does.
