    SQL command object

Hi, I am new to Command object usage. I am using Crystal ver 10 and SQL Server database. I am having a report where I display values for a club for range of months selected, year selected and club selected. These are all parameters. I also need to display a summarized total of all clubs and...

Last day of month given the year and month

I am accepting start year, end year, start month, end month. The trans_date is from the database which is SQL server. The trans_date is a datetime field. Year and month are number type in parameter. Do you think I need not create a date field per se but just use the month and year for comparison...

Last day of month given the year and month

I am using Crystal Reports 10. I am accepting the year1, year2(to compare against year1 data), start month, end month. I'd like the record selection to limit to transaction dates that are in the range - start month year1 to end month year1, start month year2 to end month year2. e.g Trans_date...

Crystal Reports 2008 ready for release

What is the major difference between the Activexviewer and DHTML viewer? Will it be a seamless transition if I have to change? I enforce ActiveX viewer in the link..

    Crystal Reports 2008 - viewers

Pardon my ignorance on viewers. We use the Activex viewer. They say that the Activex viewer will not support interactive sorting and parameter panel. So can we just plugin the other viewers for the reports that we have? Which one would be closest? Thanks!

Crystal Reports 2008 ready for release

Have you'll noted - 1. Some of the new features will not be available with the ActiveX viewer such as interactive sorting, parameter panel or embedded Flash. 2. Ennterprise version will come later and they are still not promising to include 5 named user licenses. FYI..

Re: Columns in Crosstab - displaying zeros for no data

It worked using mock cross tab and your solution. Thank you very much.

Re: Columns in Crosstab - displaying zeros for no data

When I put conditions, the condition would not give 0 since there is no data in the database. It is only gives 1 when there is data. I grouped by club and then by each quarter.I will try item 12 and let you know.

Re: Columns in Crosstab - displaying zeros for no data

How do I create a mock cross-tab? I tried creating a running total but I have a list of clubs and for each club I want a cross tab for 4 quarters.

Re: Columns in Crosstab - displaying zeros for no data

Yes, I have no data and that is the problem. Guess I have to use a mock cross tab.
