Hi canneverretire!
Due to the complex nature of our system with 2 remote sites, old P330 Cajun switches and sw version 2.1.1, we decided to have our phone maintenance vendor do this work. It still has turned out to be quite the project. We are on our fourth attempt to complete all the IP...
We are in the process of changing our IP address scheme on the entire network. I am fairly new to the Definity systems and I would like to know what needs changed in all of our phone systems. We currently have several of the following: G3R, G3si, G3csi. We also have an S8700 connected with...
Here it is:
pbx1> almsnmpconf -d XX.XX.XX.XX -del
almsnmpconf: 1 : Error with input arguments.
Usage: almsnmpconf [-d IP] [-c community] [-b [y|n]]
no argument: display current administration
-d: send traps to IP address (a.b.c.d)
-c: set trap community name to...
Here are two different responses:
pbx1>almsnmpconf -d XX.XX.XX.XX -c public -b n del
almsnmpconf: 1 : Error with input arguments.
Usage: almsnmpconf [-d IP] [-c community] [-b [y|n]]
no argument: display current administration
-d: send traps to IP address (a.b.c.d)...
Since we are unable to remove this command, now we are also unable to receive a response to the "TESTINADS" command. Does anybody else have any ideas?
Thanks!
I just tried that and it doesn't work. It gives the error "Error with input arguments". I even tried entering the entire command using the community values as well. Could it be the version we are at? I noticed that my commands are not the same as yours. The following is the available syntax...
On an S8700 (R012x.01.1.414.1), I have used the web interface and the CLI 'almsnmpconf' command to setup snmp settings for some testing. Now that we are done testing, I have removed the SNMP settings in the web interface. How can I remove these parameters that are still setup under the...
I'm very new to Avaya PBXs. We have lost our modem connection to our Definity Audix. I know when you are physically at the Prologix system and have logged in, then you press Control + Enter (on numeric keypad) to change to the Definity Audix system. Is there anyway I can do this remotely from...
