OK this is what I did. I disconnected the 160 gig problem drive and reinstalled Windows 98. This wiped out my LILO but using loadlin I got back into linux and reinstalled LILO. No No My Drivers mother board drivers are OK. My understanding is that windows 98 CAN NOT handle 160 gig drives. And this is OK for me if I could somehow edit the registry or something so that window just completely ignores my 160 gig hard drive.- murdochrav

I have windows 98 on 60 gig hard drive and all is well there, (aside from some yellow warning thingies about hard drive not working properly) but I also have a 160 gig hard drive with free BSD and linux that I would like the Windows to completely ignore or not even know about.
