Hey All
I have a pair of LUNS which are shared for HA purposes, between 2 systems. They are showing as dlmfdrv64 and dlmfdrv65 on one system, but aren't showing up on the second system. When cfgmgr was run on the secondary node again, they brought up the dlmfdrv64 and dlmfdrv65 with different...
Hey All
I've installed the CCI HORCM software onto an AIX 5.3 system. I've run the "horcminstall.sh" script that came on the CD, but when I get to the horcm1.conf and horcm0.conf files to configure them for my system, I can't figure out where to get the LU in the config files. Any ideas on how...
Really, if you know a major portion of one of the UNIX O/S's, you're going to be able to figure out most of the other UNIX flavors. Each has it's own little quarks, but there are products coming out which more or less standardize the way that you carve up the storage or create the volume groups...

Hey all
I have a new Tagmastore Hitachi, I'm running the iostat to see which LUNS are getting hit the hardest during an application upgrade and conversion. Does anyone know of an iostat flag or another command with the same or similar output as iostat which would give LUN information rather...
I agree with p5wizard and Ken, we lost our entire 690 on Monday because of a power failure and I had 7 LPARS that I had to get the 12 hour wall out of root's crontab when all of the LPARs came back up and online. Should be the last entry in the crontab if it's not edited on a regular basis.

Thanks I caught that after I posted it, not enough coffee so far this morning I guess.
Thanks, these both helped.
I'm off to parsing out the data to see which of the entries that are not in the nstest that are in the /etc/hosts file. Compile a list and give it back to me. :)
I have tried this statement below, but it sticks at the nslookup prompt.
for i in `cat /etc/hosts |awk '{print $1}'`; do
> nslookup $1 > /home/sysdpj/nstest
> done
Hey All
I've been tasked with creating an automated update between our 2 print servers. What they are doing is using AIX 5.2ML6 570 servers with the EasySW CUPS application and /etc/hosts to add the printers, and they are wanting me to dump the hosts file to another file, run it against the...
