    thanks for your response doc. I tried checking ext 10 as you suggested and all three lines are solid green no flashing. so I feature 00 out. Also when incoming calls come in and I try to awnser from #10 I get an auto dial sounds like seven digits as it picks up the call. hope that makes sense.

    I have a partner plus R4.1 with a R4.0 vs mail. Incoming calls ring at various extentions but not at the ext #10 the receptionist 18-D phone. Any Ideas to get me started looking in the right place. Thanks for any help you can provide. Thank you Tagman2005
