Yes, have tried to generate a new .toc file but it still fails.
Looks like the fileset is committed but not installed:
lppchk: The following filesets need to be installed or corrected to bring
the system to a consistent state:

I'm trying to update one of our AIX servers but it fails because a fileset is missing build date:

Installed fileset build date is 0846. Selected fileset does not have a build date, but one is...

Have looked at the things suggested in the article you refer to above but all those are ok.
rsct.core and rsct.basic filesets are all at the same level.
MTU size is the same.
Got explained (by an employee at IBM working with hacmp for many years) that the PollAliasEvents message is saying that...
I'm testing on of our HACMP clusters by moving one resource group between 2 nodes.
The moving takes a long time and I get this messages in the log:

I want to write a script that check if a sybase ase server is up and running (that you can connect to it)
Trying to do a ps -ef and grep for dataserver will show the process of the server but it seems like this process is displayed before the server is ready for connections.
Any suggestions...
I have 2 HMCs on 2 different locations.
Is it possible to change password on both HMCs from one of them or does it have to be done local on the HMC?

Ok, probably not the best way to explain what I want to accomplish.
I have a menu driven script:
function show_menus() {
clear
echo "~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"
echo " M A I N - M E N U"
echo "~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"
echo "1. Show locking process"

I want to run several scripts from inside a menu driven script.
What is the best way to start and stop those scripts?
(how to exit from a script that is started inside another script)
Is it possible to jump between scripts from inside another script?

It is a raw logical volume.
Most likely that the application is using the LV so I get this warning message when trying to extend it.
Thanks for the help.
Getting this warning message when trying to extend a logical volume on one of my AIX servers:
0516-622 extendlv: Warning, cannot write lv control block data.
Can something be done to avoid this message?

To copy /home and users from one aix server to another, do you have to do something else than mount /home on the other server (then copy the content to local /home) and copy /etc/password ?

Are only root allowed to create .iso files with mkcd?
Is there any other tools which allows 'normal' users to create .iso files?

The same operation takes 3seconds on a linux server.

I have problem with the master database at one of our ASE 15.0.3 servers.
The master database is filling up and I don't know what's causing this.
Have tried to analyse the transaction log to see what's going on but I'm not sure what to look for. (have been using dbcc log)
