    Thanks for your reply, the files are located in the same map... on the server. I get the following message: "This files can not be opened in Microsoft Access. The file is outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. For safety reasons, the file will not be opened." I wonder if it is possible...

    I have a vpn connection from my portable at home to the SBS2003 server at the office. I can open excell sheets... but why can I not open an MS Access database? Could this be a safety issue?
