Apparently, this snooper went into Windows Explorer, then to AOL/ORGANIZE and read portions of scrambled emails. I have installed a firewall suggested through this site. However, if I use a password to open windows, will those areas still be accessible?

I use AOL and would like to know if bits and pieces or parts of emails are stored somewhere on the hard drive after they have been deleted from mailbox, and if so, where and how do I find them?

Gosh, I hate to appear so stupid, but I still don't get it. Someone went onto my computer, went into my C drive and accessed portions of old emails. I'm just wondering how they did that.
