I'm in an environment of 50+ WinXP WS's where all my users have access to several shares on different servers. For example there is an "N" drive with a folder called "Client Docs" beneath that there is and A-Z directory with thousands of client names and their files (.doc, .xls, .pdf, etc.)...

Well the way AD and the GPO that sits on it is configured at the moment is to only have users "My Documents" redirected to a "home" folder in a directory called "Users" on a DC share that was setup. Nothing else is configured at the moment. Where should I really start with this.
Thanks so far...

Thanks in advance,

Well, I was at some point late last year pondering a WSUS server (for another account) to meet strictly update needs. Maybe it is still a good solution for what I'm tryin to do now as well. The programs we run are strictly for accounting (Pro fx, PPC e-tools, etc.)...

So, I finally FOCUSED and got this thing resolved. Seems the boot disk did it. I was then allowed to just push the install from the SP2 XP cd and I'm all fine n dandy now. Thanks for all the responses everyone.
Wow!
Pretty timely with the responses. Actually the tower and CD are not a matchin pair. The CD comes from the newer GX2xx series. I'll try the boot disk and see if that gets me going...sheesh, been so long, I forgot all about the ol boot disk method.
Thanks for the help!
