Clean windows2000 install?
Put the Win2k CD in during boot-up and configure your BIOS to boot from CD. Install 2k as normal through this process.- shawry

Jerky scrolling
I upgraded to a Microsoft optical wheelmouse and everything was running fine....unfortunately due to other factors i had to format and re-install XP. Ever since all scrolling in windows is jerky and painfully slow. This happens when using the mouse, and just using the normal window scroll bars...- shawry
