Sony Vaio Proprietary Issues
Alternately, I am starting to have trouble getting the computer to boot now. So, technical support at Best Buy has tonight decided it is the hard drive. Will laptop boot without hard drive?
You should see the BIOS is the real issue of whether or not you should get a new hard drive. If you cannot get the BIOS screen up (try tapping F5 as you start it up, not sure on your computer which F key it is) I would think getting a hard drive might end up being investing in a spare part.
