I keep getting the blue screen with this message "Unmountable boot volume"...I have tried the following:
Installed 2 different HDs that I tested with favorable results on another comp.
WinXP boot to the recovery console and performed a "chkdsk /r"...took forever and detected nothing.

I don't know if it has to do with the LBA cause it initially recognized the drive at full capacity (200GB).
The XP installation CD that I used didn't include a SP1, yet I installed SP2 right afterwards...unfortunately by then the damage was done.
Just partitioned a 200GB SATA HD using Windows XP while formating (bad idea I guess)and the total size dropped down to 127GB, I reformatted and deleted all partitions yet the 127 still remains. Any suggestions?
