oh there is a vmupdate in the windows one. I was just checking if that does the inventory. Ok well I could schedule a job for mon with the whole script and then do a vmupdate the day after.
I am in the process of making this windows friendly, however I have one question.
once this script runs, then I can take out the full tapes.
However when I put in any new tapes in the robot, do I need to run vmupdate again??
normally I go to Inventory --> Update --> add new media, and then...
I have got VMCHANGE working.
vmchange -res -m ASQXXX -mt DLT2 -v my_offsite_volumes
where ASQXXX is the tape barcode number.
However I would like to create a script which does this automatically every week. I would like the script to only run this on tapes which are FULL, and give the...
We have a Catalyst 6513, and I have two vlan interfaces which I want to be able to route multicast traffic between each other.
The commands I keep finding seem to be for the 5000 series, and don't seem to work.
Any ideas?
Ok, now it isn't saying discovering, it says NAPT error, and lets me type in the extension, but then errors again.
I did a syslog, and is seems that everything is being sent out, but nothing is being received.
Any ideas?
I have an IP hardphone, connected to a home router (Draytek Vigor), which then has a VPN to our office.
The VPN is fine, I can use a laptop and ping anything.
However when using the phone, I cannot get it to go past the discover part.
I have opened
UDP 1719
TCP 1720
Any ideas?

For the people that use it from home, do you just let the connect constantly? Would there be security concerns involved in this?

So I shouldnt need to forward any ports or anything outside of the LAN to LAN menu?
If theres any other things I could try out, please let me know.
On the PPTP server if I look at VPN management, I can see an IP, this is the IP I can ping from the PPTP server.
From the Laptop connected to the Vigor, I cannot ping anything, and if I do a traceroute to any IP at work, it doesnt get passed the vigor, and times out.
I suspect it is a NAT...
