    Easy VPN question

Hi and thanks for your reply. The remote client is using a PIX501 and I nominated one of our 2600 routers to be the easy vpn server. Right now authentication is going to be done locally (I want them to at least see us before I start locking it down with RADIUS).

    Easy VPN question

Hey all, According to Cisco's VPN setup guides, the client-mode requires dhcp to be configured on its device so it can assign IPs on all host machines connected to its private interface. What if I have a separate server that already does that? Do I have to emulate that same dhcp on the router...

Assigning specific ringtone for internal/external calls?

I think its all starting to fall into place, heh. Thanks so much for your patience. My last question, CM3534 changes tone for incoming trunk calls (I'm assuming this is calls coming in from external) and what about calls made internally?

Assigning specific ringtone for internal/external calls?

he ring interval is assigned with CM 3533 and the actual tone type is assigned with the different combernations of 3534 and 35164. You should play around with both till you find the one you like. There's even a door chime combination for those looking for a door box ring." AHh okay I found the...

Assigning specific ringtone for internal/external calls?

I found the command manual for the 2000 IVS and i'm assuming it should be the same with the IPS? In anycase, I couldn't dins CM08 and 392 through 396. There's a gap between 391 (Lamp Indication on Multiline Terminal) to 400. I did find the following info if I searched for internal or external...

Assigning specific ringtone for internal/external calls?

I've read you can hit the FNC key and button 3 to cycle through the various ringtones that are in the NEC ETJ-16DC phones but is there a way you can assign specific ringtones for say, all internal calls and another for external calls?

There are 16 buttons on this phone (ETJ-16DC-2) and they are on One-Touch keys.

    Utilities to use

Thanks all for your invaluable help. Using that I was able to see what each station's E601-E603 (the ones I need to look at) are set at. However I don't see an option to see what speed dials are set (like if I wanted to see what every station's speed dial button no. 13 is set to). Is there a way...

    Utilities to use

Hmm, clicking on the printer symbol and nothing comes up. In fact the only "active" icons I can hit are open scripts and import scripts.

    Utilities to use

OzzieGeorge, Thanks. I have it opened and I'm not sure how I can export info out of the PBX. This software, to me, isn't very intuitive (or I'm just plain dumb heh).

    Utilities to use

Hi all, I'm pretty new to NEC PBX administration so am wondering what sort of tools (if any) do you all use to assist, I guess, the administration of your PBX systems? One of the things I want to do is to ensure that all of our phones here have uniform programming. For example, everyone's...

    Reboot time?

Okay, I found it under Fault Storage but I am still confused as to what the Options mean. Currently they are all set to No/None so if I want enable logs for Power Failure, I should enable Yes but what are the differences between None, Major, minor, etc?

    Reboot time?

Pave35, thanks. Wehre do you enable Alarm Data? I searched the Help index and couldn't find any reference.

    Reboot time?

Is there a way to check from the MATWorX32 GUI interface when the PBX system was last rebooted? Or info like that? Thanks.
