    I managed to get it work by converting it to a pdf from autocad... nevertheless the problem remains and it's a strange thing...

    I tried to open a file I drew with autocad in illustrator, but the NURBS I used in Autocad are imported wrong. If I try to export to .eps first, I can get things work, but I'm unable to modify my nurbs later, because they are made of hundreds of little lines then... Autocad screenshot...

    Thanks to all of you... specially the tip with adjusting the directions of the handles seems like it might work, since I was already using the blend-tool.. I'll let you know how it worked out in a few days.

    Nefaste, I tried your workout, but it's too much work (rotating every gradient)... maybe there's no other way out (in that case I'll have to find out another way), but if someone can still help me with this...

    I'm working on a heightmap to use with vue. The map has to be a gradient going from black to white. I drew the isolines with the pen tool. Than I gave every different line a different grey-value. Than I planned to blend all this lines to get a nice smooth gradient, but here things start to go...
