After Outlook 2000 successfully upgraded to 2007, it ran OK in Windows XP Pro. The Spambayes Addin for filtering would not activate.
Ran an Office repair from the installation disk.
In restart Outlook 2007 was gone.
Trying to add Outlook from disk shows Outlook "Not Available".
Cannot find any...
This problem cleared itself during a number of reboots. New emails were OK but the problem emails did not get fixed (they looked to be all spam anyway).
I have upgraded to Outlook 2007 from 2000.
All incoming messages in folders have blank From/Subject/Date. The Preview Pane has the message contents with full headers.
Old messages from Outlook 2000 display properly.
How do I fix my folder display?
There was no error message other than unable to install KB898461.
The suggestions on the KB 916246 article with rename of spupdsvc.exe did the trick.
Thanks
New desktop with Windows XP reports updates were not installed for KB898461. This looks to inhibit other updates from being installed (IE 6 not updated to IE 7).
At opening an Access Database I'm getting
"Microsoft Access was unable to create the Database window
Please upgrade to a newer version of Microsoft Internet Explorer"
I'm using Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer V7 with Microsoft 2000.
How can I get past this error?
