External not recognized
Yes I put it in an external case, then as you suggested removed it, hooked it up to the internal and booted. It came up in the BIOS but stated it could not find the OS and would not finish booting?- ArmyMan

I built a Maxtor 200GB External, installed on my desktop, ran beautifully the first time. I removed it to set up on the laptop, and it was not recognized at all. No USB connection even found. I removed it from the Laptop, reconnected to the Desktop, and the same problem ensued. I have...- ArmyMan
