What is causing "malloc failed, retrying..." errors?
My configuration ================ I'm supporting a Networker 5.1 installation on two HP-UX 10.20 servers, one of which is set up as a Storage Node. Both have a Storagetek 9714 jukebox attached, the main server has 6xDLT700 drives, and the Storage Node has 5xDLT4000 drives. The problem...- coojee

Annoying "Setting up for writing, done(full)" errors
Sorry, the above wasn't entirely correct. The nsrmmd for the drive did eventually restart, but it took 35 minutes to do so. Drive is still out of action though.- coojee

Thanks for the info. I tried this, but unfortunately it just killed the nsrmmd for the affected drive, and didn't restart the nsrmmd or clear the error. One thing I also forgot to mention is that when we get this error, the jukebox usually (though not always) grinds to a halt. What seems to...- coojee
