    File size on split database (Access 97)

    If there are any graphics stored in your database this could cause the front end to bloat. Try performing a compact and repair on close. This will bring it back to its original size. If your using Access 2000, you can have it automatically compact on close by selecting it under tools, options...

    Autonumber

    From the tools menu, select database utilities, and compact or compact & repair. This will reset your autonumber. Cheers, Jols
