I'm using a formula so search a database for all "Inpatient Fees" for a hospital. Within these fees is one lone field called "Budget Only" that MUST be shown as well. Is there ANYWAY AT ALL to not let the details finish until that record is shown?
How can I sum a formula that is NOT in the details line, but in a group footer instead?
I would like to sum the formula that is in group footer 3 in group footer 2.
Thanks in advance,
TJ
This formula keeps causing Crystal Reports to crash:
if Sum ({@YearlyBudget}, {tblSubSection.SSName}) > 0 then
Sum ({@AvailableBudget}, {tblSubSection.SSName}) / Sum ({@YearlyBudget}, {tblSubSection.SSName}) * 100
--How do I declare variables to work with so the formula can deal with those...
Is it possible to send an entire SQL statement to Crystal Reports? I've created a great SQL statement that shows up the correct records--so I recreate it to my best ability in Crystal, and get the worst gibberish I've ever seen. Here's my statement:
SELECT DISTINCT...
Within the SAME report, I have both details areas (main report,) with subreport areas as well. I must add a value within the subreport with a similiar value outside of the subreport. How is this possible? What is the syntax for the formula field?
Thanks
You could save it as a .txt file, which will be smaller than a .doc file, or something like that. You might be able to create a kind of 'zip' for it. -- Good luck.
