Have you tried rebooting the machine?......I have seen this happen to other programs, but not to Word. Does this machine have the minimum system requirements and were any other programs such as AutoCad LT 2000 open at the time?
This can be done as far as I know. I am pretty sure that Adobe products are much, much more flexible than Microsoft desktop publishing programs. Doesn't Adobe have add-in capability via objects called bosses?......which is written in C++.....check out www.Adobe.com for more info or mail me for...
I hate to tell you that this not easy if impossible. You would be much better using Publisher 2000 altogether, or you could try one of the Adobe programs for publishing, such as InDesign 1.5, FrameMaker, or PageMaker which convert and support Word documents as far as i know.
The application is Access or I may use Visual Basic or Excel to hold the data as their seem to be much of it(relatively speaking) yet the data will be changed and edited in this database frequently, hence the need for a datasheet program.
