Hi all,
I would really appreciate if someone could take a look on my conf and let me know if I need anything else.
Basically I want only www and smtp to be opened and everything else closed.
Thanks a lot,
Alex

I don't know why but in conf it showed that Pool ID for global (outside) is 1 but actually it was 10 and I couldn't see that from console. So when I loaded PDM I noticed that. So I changed it to 1 and it worked after. I don't know if that was the case but I did nothing else. It is very strange...
No, I'm not using PIX as DHCP because I already have one on Win2003server. I can ping outside and inside IPs from the PIX console.
When I did "sh xlate" and "sh conn" I got that:
for sh xlate
1 in use, 8 most used
Global 192.168.2.160 Local 192.168.2.160
and for sh conn
0 in use, 10 most used...
No, still can't get out and it is not just ping I can't get out at all. Nothing works. Might be something with NAT or Global access list or anything else?
Thanks a lot for helping me.
Alex.
I cannot go outside. I can ping from console both internet and network but from local network I can't go out.
Is there anything I should do?
Thanks,
Alex
I'm trying to route from the inside network to the outside network, could someone explain me how to configure PIX 506E?
This is my conf:

Hi all,
I'm newbie in Cisco. I was configuring firewall and accidentally turned off interface ethernet1(inside) after that I can't connect to firewall. Only by terminal emulation. Is there any way to enable it back so I can use PDM again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
