I have a motherboard made by pcchips... and the bios only detects up to 32Gb out of 40Gb of my hdd. I would like to have my hdd full capacity detected... Should I upgrade my Bios,?? what would happen if I format my hdd using only 32Gb??

I have decided to use the hp officejet as a printer and to receive faxes, and when I need to send faxes I am using my fax modem and I do it through the computer. i dont know what else to do.
Hi, I have turned it off for a while (unplugged) and it doesnt work... and tried to scan into the computer and it doesnt work either... I think that the part of the printer that reads is messed up...

hi, I checked the scanner light and it is on when it is "reading" the page as it slides... that is why I am still confused...
I will try to re-install the software for the hp officejet...

When I do what you say in your msg, the hdd dont make any noise nor vibrates, I agree with you that it might be a motor problem... why does this happen to hdd? I would like to avoid this to happen again...

something similiar happened to somebody I know, this person asked me if I could check her computer, her hdd can't be recognized in the bios... it was working properly for 2 yrs, but some days ago the hdd was dead... I tried to put this hdd in other cpu's and it can't be recognized by any bios...
