I have decided to use the hp officejet as a printer and to receive faxes, and when I need to send faxes I am using my fax modem and I do it through the computer. i dont know what else to do.

Hi, I have turned it off for a while (unplugged) and it doesnt work... and tried to scan into the computer and it doesnt work either... I think that the part of the printer that reads is messed up... thank you anyway Tesa

Hi edfair When I do what you say in your msg, the hdd dont make any noise nor vibrates, I agree with you that it might be a motor problem... why does this happen to hdd? I would like to avoid this to happen again... thank tesa
