I think i have the solution for ur probelm.
u can do one thing.
Declare an array of string type .
Redim the array when u open the recordet from the the values are to be filled in the combobox.
Declare a variable of string type.
Try to use following code.
dim v_ArrTrTypCode() as string
dim...

i think tht's right!
u should add a column of varchar2 type which will store the image path.
And then u can fetch this value through front end and open the image throuh the front end only
