Hello Techs, this is acutally the last step to one of my projects but I can not figure out. Below is a quick snap shot of our network.
Main Office (LAN): 10.10.x.x/16 (RRAS, DNS)
Remote Office 1 (LAN): 10.11.x.x/16
Remote Office 2 (LAN): 10.135.1.x/24
Remote Office 3 (LAN): 192.168.99.x/24...
Hello to all, I am having a weird issue and it only happens intermitenlly with about 4 people in total. These users are emailing users within our company and getting NDR. It only happens sometimes which makes it harder to figure out. I checked spelling and email address is correct. It works...
Good afternoon Tech's, I need some assistance. I have 2 locations, NY and NJ offices connected via a 3MB Point to Point.
I am looking to monitor the available bandwidth between this point-to-point because we are looking to implement some video conference.
I have two HP ProCurve 7102dl edge...
Hey Noway2,Thanks for the feedback.
I think I am going to take a different direction after researching. This method is actually better because it provides a secure environment because prevents outside WIFI from becoming in contact with our internal network.
I am planning on having Windows...
Hi NoWay2, I am not understanding your answer. We have a HP MSM710 Controller, which manages the HP Access Point.
I do not want to assign each user two ip address. For example if I connect to the Access Point it will assign a address to my WIFI adapter, then if I go ahead and connect wired it...
Good afternoon techs, I have a situation and need some direction. We have a wired network that assigns IP address via MS DHCP.
I am configuring a Access Point for wireless communication. I noticed that when I connect wired and wireless at the same time, DHCP will assign me two different ip...
Thank you everyone.
trvlr1, I just want to make sure that I am understanding correctly. On the 6th floor switch room we have all 6 strands terminated to the fiber enclosure but only 2 strands are being used.
What you suggest is just plugging the fiber cable from the outside of the 6th floor...
Hey Techs, I have a situation and need some advise. About 5 years ago we had fiber with 6 strands run from the basement switch room to the 6th floor switch room. The fiber was terminated into a rack mount fiber enclouser on both the basement and 6th floor. We are only using 2 strands so we have...
Hi Grenage, well we have too many mobile users to assign dedicated IP's, we thought about that but not logical for our situation.
We use Windows VPN Client which does not allow you to run scripts.
I am trying to figure out if their is any way to trick the DNS to think that 10.64.0.x is part...
Well everything is correct, except the static route portion.
Lets keep the same scenario as above.
The remote client gets a IP from the VPN Server of 192.168.10.51. I then create a static route on the remote client:
route add 10.64.0.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.51
I tried to add the...
Hey Grenage, if I disconnect from the VPN and then reconnect the VPN Server will automatically assign me a different IP but in the same range.
When I create the static route on the remote user laptop the gateway on the static route is specific to whatever IP the VPN assigns that user. So when...
Hi Grenage, we use RRAS through Windows 2003 for VPN. I currently have a persistent route on this server pointing to 10.64.0.X.
If I VPN into the network from the remote laptop and then create a static route, I am able to connect succesfully to our CRM System.
The issue is that when the remote...
Hey Brianinms, we are using RRAS through a Windows 2003 Server. The remote users are using Windows XP VPN. The RRAS server is located in NY Main Office.
Also I made a mistake above our China IP Scheme is 10.84.0.X.
Both NY Main Office and China Office are on subnet 255.255.255.0.
Hi Jimbopalmer, excuse me for my mistake. The IP Scheme in china is 10.64.0.X. It's a totally different scheme then NY but both on subnet 255.255.255.0.
Any recommendations?
Good afternoon Techs, I need some advise.
We have VPN setup into our NY Main Office which uses 192.168.0.X as the network address.
We have a direct PPP with our China office which uses 192.168.99.X. The China office physically has our CRM server.
We can connect internally without a problem...

Good morning Tech's, I am having a very strange issue on a large amount of our PC's in our remote location. This remote location is connected to my centeral office via a Point-to-Point. All servers reside in the central office and so does the Internet Gateway. Reason for the above is this issue...
Hey ShackDaddy, the logs on the SonicWall did not show anything. No trace of the e-mail even reach and being rejected.
I did solve the issue, I got the IP Address of the senders mail server and then manually added their address to our Sonicwall. At first I included the senders mail server Host...
